2015 Year End Function – Beachcombers Photography Club

During the course of the year the Beachcombers Club members entered a combined total of 788 images for judging. This resulted is some stiff competition between the members.

4 of our members entered the maximum amount of 44 images for the year, with Nobby Clarke taking the top spot based on points and was awarded “Most entries For the Year”

Tracey Sadie has produced some great images this year and was awarded “Novice Photographer of the Year”.

Brad Gray is one of the members that consistently enters High Quality images and as a result of his efforts was awarded “The Most Improved Photographer of the Year”. We look forward to seeing some great images from him next year.

“Member of the Year” went to a very dedicated long time member whose commitment and behind the scenes work has been amazing. Thanks for all the effort Sias Van Schalkwyk.

During the year the PSSA ( http://www.pssa.co.za/ ) hosts Salon Photographic competitions. The member with the most awarded points from the various Salon competitions takes home the “Most Salon Acceptances” awards and once again Nobby Clarke took top honors.

Taking all the top scoring images for the year, we get 3 independent judges to pick the clubs top image of the year. “Photograph Of The Year” went to a very competitive member, Nobby Clarke for his image Titled “Hidden”

And finally we get to “Photographer Of The Year” this goes to Hein Beukes. Hein has an amazing talent and has spent many hours improving his skills. Hein’s photography is evolving into something truly amazing. Can’t wait to see what he does next year!
